Description

Spirulina is a cyanobacterium (microalgae) cultivated for centuries by the Aztecs and Lake Chad populations. Composed of 60-70% protein, rich in iron, phycocyanin (blue antioxidant pigment), beta-carotene and B vitamins, it is one of the most studied dietary supplements in the world.
